Mission Statement

Widney Career and Transition Center is dedicated to providing rigorous vocational training and instructional programs for students with disabilities ages 18-22 on the Alternate Curriculum. The instructional program is designed to foster student independence, develop work skills and support student success by participating in and accessing the community in which they live and work. Our goal is to maximize student potential utilizing a variety of assessments and hands-on training within areas of interest to promote student engagement and learning.
